The founder opened American Grill in New York City because of a simple reason. He could not find good food here. The founder served his country as a United States Marine, and with that, he has two combat tours in both the Iraq and the Afghanistan wars. When he returned home, he couldn't find any good place to eat in his neighborhood of the South Bronx. While he was back, he completed his Bachelor's and master's in engineering and made a great career as an Electrical engineer. All the while, he was frustrated by the fact that there wasn't a single restaurant in the Bronx where he could find some Great American Food. One day, he decided to take control of the situation and founded American Grill. He knew he would not be able to do it alone, so he started building a team with a highly skilled team of professional chefs and managers. American Grill has an excellent menu of Juicy Burgers, Seasoned Grilled Chicken, and butcher choice selected Steaks and Ribs, Comfort food, summer food, delicious vegetarian food, and most of all, "Food Cooked from The Heart".
